About
I am Sanna. I'm a UX & Service Designer based in Göteborg. My background is in the humanities, with a master's in Interaction Design. It's a combination that makes me a systems-thinking designer, drawn to how design shapes human experience, culture and society.
That humanistic lens feels more relevant than ever. I think AI is one of the most exciting things to happen to the design process, and I'm genuinely interested in what it asks of designers. I believe that as almost anyone becomes able to build something digital, what will set trained designers apart is deep understanding of human behaviour and the values that make us human. This shift also asks us to speak a language AI and developers understand, pulling designers toward a more technical driven process. But I think it will only sharpen what we are actually here to do: design the interaction between humans and machines, so that people can trust, feel safe, and recognise themselves in it.
I use AI as a thinking partner throughout my own design process for the same reason. With custom skills, design agents and MCP connections AI builds alongside me as I design, where the quality of what it produces depends entirely on the judgement guiding it. Designing that relationship, between human judgement and the machines we build to support it, is where I want to keep working next.
